Dear Sister,
It hadn’t been there before.
Of course, it makes no sense at all…it’s so old. It had to have been there. If not there, then where?
My whole life in this town I never once noticed that house, but now I find myself passing it every day. Sometimes more than once. No matter where I’m going, I pass that house.
I find myself lingering in front of it, staring. It’s not quite right, I think. The angles are wrong. The foundation and the roof don’t seem to be connected to the walls…it’s difficult to explain.
I wonder if the front door is locked…

The music is simply top-notch: everything I crave in a synth-laden experience is inordinately well represented. If you're questing for a soundtrack to adventure, Desolation Plains delivers in spades. Like unto any great form of escapism, this is an adventure that wholly succeeds at creating a little patch of adventure outside the bounds of hum-drum existence.
